Each session will take particular objects, themes or ideas from the collection as a starting point.  We are based in the Babbington Room, giving us a quiet space to work, and you also have the opportunity to work in and around the Museum if you wish.

All sessions are designed for confident artists and those finding their feet.  To book email or call 01223 333516.

All materials are provided but please feel free to bring anything in particular you may wish to work with

The Museum does not have any parking.  The nearest car park is the Grand Arcade Car Park on Downing Street.  The Museum is a 5 minute walk from the bus stops on Emmanuel Street.

When you arrive for the session, please report to the reception desk in the Museum shop.

A selection of images showing the work we have been doing in response to the collection and you can find more on our Facebook page. With many thanks to Sarah-Jane and Lorena for helping us organise the sessions and for finding us such amazing selections of objects from the handling collection.
