William Blake wrote poems and decorated borders. You don't have to write a poem, unless you have one to hand, buy maybe use a favourite saying (home sweet home currently comes to mind!) or a recipe, some words from a song, any text you wish, then embellish, decorate the borders.
Use any media you enjoy. I love the feeling of using pencil or pen on colour: it could be crayon, watercolour or what you will! Experiment! Play!
